“Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Proverbs 31:28 speaks of the husband who praises the wife (from 3rd person point of view) but in verse 29, this husband praises her from his own mouth.
He says this “Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.”
She is a wife full of strength and character.
Her name is better than silver or gold and her husband treasures her far beyond any worldly gain.
He knows her worth and he would be a fool to let her go.
He definitely knows that there are many women of character and he acknowledges them too, though from his position, she surpasses them all.
From his tougue he draws commendation and praise for the love of his life.
So to all men who are finding their wives, do not give up.
There are many women who are of strength and character. Not all are goldiggers or social climbers using their bodies to gain undue advantage above the rest.
There are many women of virtue.
There are many women who fear the Lord.
There are many women who get their strength from the Lord
Women who do not fret and who laugh at the days to come [because the Lord is their refuge.]
So be thankful for your wife. Be thankful for that woman the Lord has given you who reflects the goodness of the Lord in how she treats you and your children.
The husband praises her with no fear. He knows she is the best for him. She’s irreplaceable and there is no one like her.
No one can convince him otherwise because she has brought him praise at the gates and he has been respected because of her good deeds.
Who wouldn’t lavish her with such praises?
Ask the Lord continuously mold you that you will be good to your husband.
That he will fearlessly say, “My wife is amazing and great!” “My wife is the most beautiful on earth!” “My wife…my wife..”
That he will sing your name wherever he goes because it is biblical for your husband to praise you!
So Miss and Mrs., no hating on men who praise their wives. Work your marriage, you will see the fruits.
Be his strength in time of his weakness, his comfort in distress, his guide in time of confusion and a keen listener when he needs to talk.
Be his adviser in times life perplexities, be his greatest fan and his first cheerleader, for praises, motivation and the condition of his heart are inextricably interwoven.
Be his best friend to the core, the lover of his heart, his joy and a gracious wife with a heart and attitude of servanthood.
Know that you have an assignment from the Lord to be his helper every day, any minute, and that he comes first before your work, ministry, girlfriends and what we don’t like hearing most- your children!
Above all, hold fast unto the Lord and the guiding hand of the Lord to enable you to do all, for without the Lord, your strength will fail.
