Check your heart.
A quick peek under the surface of anger is enough to see that much of the rage we feel when something happens to us grows out of self-centeredness.
When we become angry, we become more protective of our own and less concerned about the issues of the other person.
Anger is one of greatest obstacle to building a truly Goldy and good relationship.
Calling our anger justified is self-centered: a selfishness that deep in our souls, feels entirely reasonable and therefore acceptable in light of how we have been treated.
Calling our anger righteous is a high claim, for it perverts the very character of love.
Remember love is not easily angered. Now, that doesn’t exclude the feeling of anger, but it doesn’t justify itself too.
