28 DAYS OF APPRECIATION – DAY 1

Gentlemen let’s do this!!
Let me ask you…. When was the last time you really intentionally took time to appreciate your wife? When was the last time you told her that you love her from the deepest part of you and that she means we to you? I don’t want to guess your answer bruh..
Its time to rekindle that fire. To reignite the love that has fizzled out over time. To bring back the warmth that closely held you together. That feeling that you had when you first saw her. Remember? I hope the hustle and bustle of life hasn’t eroded it from your memory.
I want you to stay with me through the next 28 days and see how it goes.
We shall be intentional and deliberate on every day activity.
Let’s bring back the warmth in our marriages.
May the Lord guide us.
Each Devotional will be divided into four parts namely; Action, Launchpad, Bible Verse and Prayer.
You will get the gist of it as we proceed.
So here we go!!!
Action: Appreciate Her
Launchpad: What are the things that you really appreciate about your wife? Have you told her lately? Well, it’s about time that you do!
My wife thrives in appreciation. From small to big things, she loves being appreciated. I am sure it is so with you too.
Look out for every little thing that she has thoughtfully done for you.
Acknowledge it and tell her thank you. You can do this by telling her the first thing in the morning when you two wakes up, texting her, leaving an note on her dressing mirror, on the office table, maybe a card or a thoughtful gesture.
Thank her for choosing you.
Thank her for following your lead and being submissive.
Thank her for taking care of you where you were down.
Appreciate the efforts she makes to keep it together.
For taking care of your child or children.
For handling her affairs with due diligence.
Make her day and let it count.
Bible Verse:
“May the Lord now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this.” (2 Samuel 2:6)
Prayer
Dear Lord I thank you for the gift of my wife.
She has been a blessing to me and it’s my desire to be of greater blessing to her.
Give me the strength, will and opportunity to appreciate her for the things she do for me and my family. May I never miss an opportunity to say thank you for who she is in my life.
Forgive me for the times I failed to appreciate her and commend her for her efforts to help me build my family.
I purpose to be intentional and so help me God.
In Jesus Name I pray
Amen
