I always thought prayers are to get God to run errands for me… But Prayers doesn’t get God to do your errands, prayers gets you to do God’s will especially in marriage.
Prayer is the only way that will make your relationship stand, it’s the only way to make your marriage weather the storms of life.
Prayer is the only way to make God act on behalf of you my fellow wife.
Prayer is the only way to fill your mind and heart with understanding Mr.
Those habits that are not so desirable in your man, God can mold them and shape them out! Note I have said habits, not character, because he needs to have a good character before you say I do. Mr., she needs to have a good character before you make her your wife.
A noble man is made by the Lord. A virtuous woman is made by the Lord.
Prayer makes you all that, prayer shapes your habits.
Prayer is the only way to meet your Ruth.
Prayer is the only way to meet your Boaz.
Prayers that are constant and consistent like Daniel, prayers that have Faith like Hannah, prayers that believe that the Lord is able to do the impossible and lasting things like Moses and Joshua.
Prayer that knows that you have an Almighty father, who can fight your battles like He did for Hezekiah. It’s not for you to fight your wife, or your husband, you pray. Am not saying that you can’t communicate, no there’s death is silence.
Pray with specificity, our God is very specific. The devil is not in the details, God is in the details. Look at the Lord’s Prayer, the ark? Look at the tabernacle?
He was detailed, even to the type of wood that should be used. Jesus could spend 4 hours praying and hid miracles lasted less than a millisecond. He knew the power of prayer even though He was Christ. God is God, He is sovereign, and He can do as He pleases, but still tells us to pray without ceasing why? Because He cannot contravene His word. He exalts His word above His name. He needs a person to work through, just like the devil needs a body to work through.
He came to earth as Jesus, born of a woman, immaculately, yet He was God. So wife, don’t keep quiet and expect your hubby to just cut off the addiction to drinking, call heaven. Pray and pray.
Pray for your womb to hold a baby, refuse any miscarriages in Jesus name. I have learnt to pray and refuse anything that is not in God’s word. It’s not my portion.
Pray for your children in the morning before they go to school.
Pray for strategies at your work place.
Pray for wisdom to please your husband.
Pray for strength to manage your home affairs. It’s not easy to juggle everything, so pray for supernatural strength from the Lord. You can’t make it on your own.
Pray for understanding from God, to know when to talk, or when to keep quiet.
Pray for your husband to be receptive when you ask him something.
Pray for abundance in your home, that your barns will forever flow, pray for God’s provision.
You want endurance in your relationship pray, you want God to intervene pray.
Pray that the Lord will change your attitude, that your actions will draw your husband closer to the will of God.
Do not allow the devil to whisper defeat to you, pray that your steps will be ordered of the Lord.
Pray and refuse any intrusion in your relationship or marriage. Cover your husband or wife by the blood of Jesus. Refuse all attacks of the enemy from any quarter.
Pray for your future and cover your purpose and destiny by the blood of Jesus. The devil is always after your destiny.
Pray in Faith, remembering that Faith creates an atmosphere for miracles.
Prayer is not cliche. It works.
Your nagging will never work, your screaming will never work. Your silence will kill your marriage, your tears will never soften his heart. God will. God can. God is able. Don’t sit there, pray. Pray like all men and women of the old. Pray to the Lord that hears, the God who can do the impossible for you, pray and pray.
Pray without ceasing, pray anywhere and everywhere, pray while walking, pray in the loo, pray while bathing, pray in the meetings, pray before presenting, pray before your journey. Pray and pray.
You need not dramatize your prayers, God doesn’t need all the mumble jumble, He answers in secret, and He sees the motive of your heart.
Prayer is not cliche, prayer simply lays it all down to the will of the Father.
