I know…You had to re-read the heading again! Yes, it’s the Proverbs 31 man am talking about.
A real man worthy of a Proverbs 31 woman.
So after the incident of the “lady”, came the guy who doesn’t mind being a “side plate.
Unfortunately, the society will crucify any woman gladly, but am yet to see the media that furious over a man’s texts who doesn’t mind being chips packaged!
It’s sad.
From the beginning, man was created to conquer, to domineer, to rule, so for a man to say he doesn’t mind being a “side hustle to a lady, that is beyond my purview to contemplate.
A pure travesty of what manhood is.
You crucify the ladies, but Mr, you are way below the mark. You have been weighed, and have been found wanting!
Well, if you have chosen that path, I do pity you Mr, but salvation is free, you want it, take it.
Your life will never be the same again. The Lord is able to clothe you with honor. The honor that real men have.
So here I am, talking to you my brothers.
I will tell you the truth, unpalatable as it is.
I hope you do get to read this. Man up! Man up! And be Proverbs 31 man worthy of the Proverbs 31 lady.
Man up and be the Proverbs 31 man!
Man up and be the Proverbs 31 man!
Man up and be the Proverbs 31 man!
Man up and be the Proverbs 31 man!
Proverbs 31 talks of the words spoken to King Solomon, and this is what it means to be a man. A real man worthy of a PROVERBS 31 WOMAN!

A proverbs 31 man can definitely not say “I don’t mind being chips fungwad“. That is not a Proverbs 31 man.!
His strength of body, mind, reason, spirit and wisdom are only for his wife.
He doesn’t engage in excessive venery which definitely weakens him.
Look at Samson, he was lured by Delilah, and his power was forever gone!
Wrong women will devour you Mr!
Wrong women have brought mighty men to their knees! Samson, Solomon, the list is endless.
A proverbs 31 man has only one woman.
The wife.
Only the wife can build him and do her good!
That woman who can repay good unto you for all you have done for her.
That woman who can, thank you for all the good things bestowed unto her by you.
That woman who will have your interests at heart, and promote your honor and glory to the uttermost.
That woman who does all the good works for you.
That woman who does all in your name and strength, and with a view to bring you glory to you as her husband.
That woman who will not do any evil willingly and knowingly against you, against your truths and ordinances; or that which is detrimental to your honor, and prejudicial to your interest!
That is the woman whom your strength should all be channeled to! Not to every woman but the wife of your covenant!
The Proverbs 31 man only enjoys the wife of his youth. A wife given to him by God.
Only the wife is the suitable helper! Only the wife is the “sweetable” helper! Only the wife is the Sweet and Able helper!

  1. HE IS VERY SOBER AND MODEST. Proverbs 31:4

All men ought to be grave and sober! It is very Biblical.
It s not because of anything else, but that they may be able perform their duties well, and maintain the grandeur and dignity of it.
Showing off how many beer bottles you have on your table on Facebook, Twitter or whichever social media you want to show off really doesn’t make you any cool!
It’s very useless and despicable.
Honestly it’s pernicious! Especially to your so called reputation!
Have you seen a drunken man? They drink, and forget the law. Just like
Proverbs 31:5 says!
Sin stupefies the mind and perverts the judgment of any of man.
Sobriety of a man is of essence.
You cannot make a wrong judgement call easily if you are sober!

A proverbs 31 man is vocal in defending the lowly in society.
He is not a braggart! He speaks for the fatherless, the motherless, the fearful, the widows and anyone who doesn’t seem to have a voice in the society.
He is bold, intrepid and freely speaks for such people.
When he opens his mouth, he opens it to encourage, not out of influence of alcohol, but out of Godly influence.
You cannot want or ask the Lord to give you a saint for a wife yet you are one guy who engages in sporadic venal wantonness.
Man up and be the Proverbs 31 man!

  1. HE TREASURES HIS WIFE. Proverbs 31:10

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.
A Proverbs 31 man finds no comparison to his wife!
She doesn’t compare to any other, not even to the gemstones and fine rubies.
Lady, your worth is not on the material things that man is giving you. You need to know your worth.
You need to let the Lord teach you be the Proverbs 31 lady, to have the Proverbs 31 man!
Contrary to what many think, men are visual, they always are. So yes! Your husband will definitely see many women…but, the difference between a Proverbs 31 man and a Bozo is that he still discovers the same result!
His wife is amazing! Irreplaceable! She is the Queen! She surpasses them all! He sees her, he sees God!
He knows that God has favored Him to find such a rare person! So in turn, he will treasure her at every minute.
The Proverbs 31:29 man always declares.

“You surpass them all,” he says. Daily.

The Proverbs 31 man does not demean his wife. He treasures her, finding in her joy beyond the football, his fellow “bruhs”, of which I have  nothing against, BUT- HE always looks forward to spending time with her.
Quality time at that.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her …
He trusts her with his dreams, his vision, his will, his ways, his interests, his everything.
He is fully satisfied with her. He trusts her with his fidelity. Remaining chaste as always. His confidence is in his wife.
The wife who considers the field and buys it, the woman who makes his clothes out of flax, the woman who opens her hands to the poor.
That is the woman he can fully trust.
Therefore, the husband gives the wife the free will to develop herself. He leads her gently, just like Christ, offering advice and guidance to her, not with dictatorial rule or trying to micromanage her.
He supports her ideas, and he is not intimidated by her ideas nor is he cynical.

  1. HE PRAISES HER. Proverbs 31:28-29

Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:

“Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”

It’s funny when I see a man praising another woman in the office, in church, but cannot praise his wife. How sad!
You post pictures of other women, comment on other women pictures and cannot show off your wife!!!!
Let me tell you something, it is biblical to praise your wife!
Please, this gospel of not praising your wife is a lie from the devil!
You need to praise your wife everywhere! Anywhere! “Hunnie you are great!” “My wife is amazing!” That should be your attitude Mr!
With praising her, she is encouraged to do more!
Who doesn’t like to be pat at the back? Which wife doesn’t like to be validated?
Even Christ says, “Well, done, good and faithful servant!”
I mean, I cook recipes just to hear my hubby say, “Hunnie that meal was super!” I love hearing that!
The wife of the Proverbs 31 man, due to his encouragement and praise, is able to run with lots of projects.
She sells, she opens her hands to the poor, and she is an awesome manager of her home. All because of her husband’s pat on the back!

He is not known because he drinks himself to a stupor.
He is not known because he is a womanizer.
He is not known because he is a schemer.
He is not known because he is a braggart.
He is not known for throwing the wildest parties in town!
He is not known because he cannot avoid ogling at the butts and boobies in town.
He is known because he is a successful, noble man.
He is man full of excellent spirit, character and wisdom. A man full of honor and grace.
How does he gain his wisdom? From Christ and the company he keeps.

“Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.”

He doesn’t eat the bread of idleness.
He doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, doesn’t stand in the way of sinners, and doesn’t sit with mockers.
So, Mr? Which company do you keep? Because certainly it will affect every area of your life.
Psalms 1:1 says:

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.

He is full of wisdom to guide his family, no wonder his children call their mother blessed. They see!
Can your kids see and call their mother blessed?
Unfortunately, most of them know their dads as drunkard, the man who just reads the newspaper, always on his tablet, or who watches football the whole day!
Or worse, a dad who is always absent! So yes! Kids see too how you treat your wife!
The Proverbs 31 man’s wife thrives in his presence! So does his kids, and its evident in whatever he does.

The wife was always in fine linen! I mean that is classy!
She was strong, intelligent, industrious, and discreet. She was not ignorant, or an unsophisticated wench!
She was too cultured.
Did her strong personality make the husband fearful of her? NO! In fact, he fanned her personality even more! He was the wind beneath her wings!
She was independent but still submissive.
She was successful in business, selling linen to the merchants n the land, and yet a wife and a mother!
The husband did not step on her abilities. He was not a male chauvinist!
He loved her just as Christ loved the church.
We need men who are strong and yet gentle! Men who will mirror their lives as Christ would want them to!
A man is only man enough when he has mastered the ways of Christ.
He is a man when he has discovered his identity and purpose!
Womanizing and bragging about your ‘conquests’ doesn’t qualify you to be man! You even prove yourself weaker when you go talking about the women you have slept with!
You need Christ Mr! You need him to train your emotions and subdue the lust of the flesh! For a man who cannot master his emotions is like a city with no walls!
Proverbs 25:28
Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.

You should be a Proverbs 31 man before being able to handle a Proverbs 31 woman because she’s way too strong for a weak character of a man!
